I'm fairly new to photography and my friend's family asked me to do a photoshoot for them recently. This was my favorite shot of the series. Love the composition.

Here is my photo. I love the light coming in from the window, reflection in the window and that there is a story with this photo the boy in comfortable and face emotions are complex.

Hi, Thank you for hosting this contest. I'm submitting an image I took at the very beginning of 2009 of a couple meditating on the beach at dusk. I just like the quietness of it -- when you look at the image, you don't hear much except maybe the wind. Hopefully I am uploading this correctly. Cheers, Peichi

Thank you for this opportunity. I have had a really hard time deciding which photo to enter. But I finally decided on this one because this little girl just draws you in. She was so interested in my camera, a shy intrigue that really comes through in this photo. It isn't posed, just the natural innocence and an adorable little girl.

i thought it was one of my best photos from 09

This photo was taken on St. Simon's Island, Georgia, in October 2009. The couple had no wedding photos and heard many photographers were in town for a shoot. The bride literally tore apart her years-old dress and RE-MADE IT the night before the shoot! The couple was model quality and their romance permeated the beach atmosphere.][/url][/img][/url]

It was really hard to pick 1st place and 3rd place! Second place was unanimous among all the judges!
The 1st place and the 3rd place where different all across.
