I didn't go, it got late so I decided to stay home (I'm in San Jose). Sorry to hear about the music not being good. Did you get to see other members of the meetup group?

Steven is correct. That is Mt. Tallac. I highly recommend it to anyone that can hike at least 10 miles and with 8000 total feet of elevation gain/loss. The reward includes commanding views of the entire Lake Tahoe basin plus views of Desolation Wilderness and other regions to the west and south.
