Well, this is a simple idea, I wish more members are active on the site, participating in Message boards, answering polls, and RSVP'ing for meetups. I wonder who will like this idea :)

He needs some new and innovative photos and you can use them for your portfolio. He is will ing to come out from Detroit for this to get some shots in the Bay Area. Since he is a pianist I was thinking of some place with a grand piano.. possibly the DeAnza Hotel's Headly room with great art deco architecture as well as a day trip to San Francisco...He will be out here for 3-4 days so I am trying to come up with some innovative ideas and places.

I know there have been some very recent workshops on Engagement and wedding shooting, but may I request a repeat of the same, please? That is one aspect of my photography that needs a lot of education :-)

Wanted to see how many of you are interested in learning/trying out time lapse photography. Maybe in a spot with enough dynamics and change, like the GG bridge from the mountains nearby or maybe Vasona Park in south Bay, Los Gatos? Open to other potential locations too. Maybe if we start around 3pm we can go past sunset and shoot until 6pm.

If you go through the work of aquiring the site, how about adding a model dressed like a 40's torch singer for something even better.
Also there is a studio in sunnyvale that has a grand piano.

17 miles will be a nice location to meet, we can also consider about carpool at S. San Jose then go from there.
