I did a seminar in San Francisco June 27th and we had a great studio next to Calumet. We had three different models under three different 4 light setups. we set up our cameras to control each individual light at each group and it was an fantastic learning experience. We also shot outside with high speed sync.
It would be fantastic if we could do something like this. I will post some shots at francisephotography.com , look under Canon shoot and these are the results. It would be great if we could do something like that right here. the models were from modelmayham and they were great also. What do you think?
Hi. Is this event still open? When and where? Just begin using meetup, not very familiar how this gonna work....
This place is large and in Sunnyvale. http://www.councilphotographics.com/![]()
there are plenty of abandoned buildings in the Bay Area, how about one of those?
When will this event be going on and what kind of models/MUAs are you looking for?
This is over a year old and we are still waiting... I will offer my location (think of it like a small 'home' studio). collectively we can pull this together. Ping me off-line and i will be happy to host a couple folks - maybe do it in rotation if we cannot find a large venue. Just a thought. Happy shooting.
The palace of fine arts is a beautiful spot, lets do it!
I changed the date and time to Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM
Are we still doing the shoot if it rains?
Is this event actually happening? I notice there is no organiser now?
That is a very good question. Things can change quickly. I rememebered that I receieved a reminder email only this morning. Maybe it will be enough of us to go and do some shooting, regardless.
Well, this is awkward. It would appear the previous organizer of this meetup had just left. I never saw any parting words. This meetup this morning was not very detail oriented with information to guide people. I am not sure if it is happening or not. Maybe Andrew knows more about if the event is still going on or not.
I received the information from Calumet and Canon. It was nice but pretty pricy.
