NEW!!!! We now have 2 models! one for the morning and one for the afternoon! So we now have double the shooting time for the same price!
IMPORTANT: If you like to come at 10am when we start shooting you can! if you already know how to setup studio lighting and you just want to learn my setup, and shoot with the models simply come around 10am, just let me know that you plan on coming later, so I will not wait for you for the first part of the workshop.
This workshop will teach you how to actually SET-UP studio lighting, how to create a specific look that you want, and how to work with the model!
One more BONUS, We will have a nude model, I think artistic nude photographs are amazing! and I love creating them. We will concentrate on studying body figure, and posing techniques to create artistic bude shots! If you feel uncomfortable with nude this workshop is NOT for you.

I'm limiting this studio workshop to 12 people! Please make sure to register soon if you are interested!
We will have full model release forms available from the model to all the photographers!
You can use the images to promote your work! As well as sell the images.

We will start the workshop at 8:00am SHARP!!! DON’T BE LATE!
*You can come at 10am if you like - see new note above.
- 8:00am to 9:30pm - Setting up the lighting in the studio, you will learn how to setup the lights, including assembling them and arranging them in the studio! We are starting from scratch! and building it all up!
- 9:30pm to 10:00pm - Introducing the model, and learning posing techniques
- 10:00am to 2:15pm - Shooting 1:1 time with the first model - each one will have at-least 20 minutes of 1:1 time with the model
- 2:15pm to 5:00pm - Shooting 1:1 time with the Second model - each one will have at-least 20 minutes of 1:1 time with the model
- 5:00pm to 5:30pm - Disassembling the studio lights and organizing the studio
- 5:30pm to 6:30pm - Photoshop editing and working on the photos (maybe going back to my studio in Sunnyvale, need to check with the studio owner in Fremont if we can stay little longer)
*Note, our first model has to go back to her day job and has to leave at 2:30pm. Don't be late, arrive at 8am so we can finish the setup of the studio before 9:30am!

$145 payable via PayPal only! and only in advance! (Covers: Models fees, Studio Fees and instruction)
What should I bring:
All you need is your DSLR cameras, lenses, and if you have any pocket wizards that will be helpful!
Other then that you are all set!

This was a well organized, educational, worthwhile and fun Meetup. Mike knew his stuff about the topic, sharing both his knowledge and experience with all of us. There was plenty of 1 on 1 time with the models and Mike. I would attend another one of his Meetups based on this one alone. I just wonder how much the photos we took of him showing the models his desired pose is worth? ;-)
